So as you can see, I've lost track of which week of school I'm in. All I know is somehow my reading and homework has grown exponentially! If I remember correctly, during one of the first weeks of school, there was a nice harbor cruise. At first, I was apprehensive since I'm prone to motion sickness, but once I got on the boat and we started on the cruise, it was all partying all the time! The food was great and I believe all music was calibrated for our high school days(plus some Lady Gaga) so it was super appropriate for dancing and reminiscent of prom!
In other news, Hiro and I have investigated warm winter coats. It's not quite cold enough for the coats yet, though it did drop like 15 degrees in the last week. I am more used to California where we drop 15 degrees over 3 weeks! As a result, I'm wearing sweaters already! This is horrible! I am totally excited about the snow that will be right around the corner. I can be excited since I can see my classroom from my apt and so it will be no bother at all, even with the slush! I am debating whether I want ugg like boots and waterproof them. Any thoughts?
I'm missing California football and just college football in general! It totally sucks that I'm without ESPN. I feel so disconnected from the sports world. To help me cope, Hiro and I decided to join the smart phone world and so hopefully more updates will be forthcoming more frequently! Plus, I can check sports score on my phone!
Tomorrow, my core team(the team that we do all group work in) and I have a bonding event. I've volunteered to make waffles/brunch for 6 of us plus Hiro. Wish me luck!
